Morpheus 8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that integrates radiofrequency (RF) properties with the benefits of microneedling. During a treatment, tiny, thin needles emitting RF energy are safely stamped onto the skin, producing a controlled injury that generates collagen and elastin production. Healthy collagen and elastin levels correlate to firm, tight, smooth skin.
One of the more effective RF microneedling treatments, Morpheus 8, penetrates the skin at the deepest levels, allowing multiple layers to be treated simultaneously. RF microneedling treatments rely on a particular device to safely create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. The cost of a Morpheus 8 treatment varies depending on the treatment area and the number of sessions needed to obtain your desired results. Most patients require about three treatments spaced six weeks apart.

The results from Morpheu8 are not immediate and usually take time to show. Several treatments are necessary to obtain your desired results. While you may notice an initial glow to your skin after the treatment, it can take at least three months to see the result
Immediately after the treatment, the skin will be red with tiny red pinpoint bleeding spots, which resolve on their own. The skin will also look like it has a bad sunburn. A few days after the treatment, the skin will start to turn pink and flush with some dryness, which remains for a few days. Then, your skin should return to normal
Although the results are not immediate nor permanent, most patients say the improvement in their skin lasts about one year. It can take about one to three months for skin smoothness and tightness to be seen.
We don’t recommend undergoing the treatment without numbing cream since it can be painful when the skin is not numb. Numbing cream will be applied to your skin before the 30- to 45-minute treatment to make the procedure comfortable. Pro-Nox gas can also be used along with pre-treatment pain medication. If you are well-numbed, you shouldn’t feel anything at all.
It’s best to avoid using retinol, vitamin C, and exfoliating acids on the skin for the first few days after the treatment. Instead, stick with a mild skincare routine of gentle and hydrating products.
